Students Should Have Less Tests
| As we know thetestis primarily a way to measure one's ability and knowledge . However , it is over -- used to such an exent that it doesmore harm than good .
For one thing , the form of test itsclf encourages rigid memotiza-tion instead of improving students creative and individual thinking. Whoever agrees with the designer of the exam gets high scores , other-wise , poor ones .
For another , too frequent exams restrain us from reding widely.
Too many tests lead both students and teachers astray . They havealready produced effects on the health of teachers and students . What is the use of students with high scores but poor health? Therefore , too many tests are harmful to students . |
