Honesty is the best policy
There is an English proverb which says " Honesty is the best policy." It signifies the importance of honesty. But do
you know what the benefits of honesty are? If you are honest to others,they will be honest to you in return.When
you are sad, they will comfort you；when you are in trouble,they will help you. On the contrary, if you are not
honest to others, you will lose much. There is no way to enumerate the evils of dishonesty here. In a word, a
dishonest man will be looked down upon by others, and be regarded as a public enemy. |
